Harvest School is a school for all those who have a clear call to missions. All gifting are welcome and it is most definitely not just open for pastors or leaders. It is a school to train and equip a new breed of missionaries, a generation of laid-down lovers who will run into the darkest corners of the earth, call in the outcasts, bring in His Bride and compel the poor to come to the wedding feast.

The school is an intensive missionary training school. It is a very beautiful yet stretching time, like spiritual boot camp. Our days, nights, and weekends are very full with classes, projects, outreaches, home groups, reading, assignments and papers, etc. It is a time  for dying to self, personal comfort and preferences so that you might truly live to carry His glory to the ends of the earth. "You can see Jesus in the eyes of the dying, the broken and the lost. He came with ceaseless love for both the one and the masses. Now we must do the same - stop for the one but believe for the multitudes.

We are called to carry His glory, but first we must lie down so that whole nations can come to Jesus.

For this purpose, Iris Ministries is thrilled to present our international mission training schools based in the northern province of Mozambique. To come and be trained on the field. Live, love and learn from the poor." The school runs for up to three months and includes worship times, speakers from around the world, a missions focused core curriculum as well as plenty of opportunities to 'muck in' with the Mozambicans in the village and surrounding area.

There will be overnight outreaches into the bush-bush during the school. The school is an opportunity to learn missions while putting it into practice and becoming incarnational within the African culture. It is a chance to live with the Mozambicans, kids and pastors and to learn what it truly means to be Jesus' hands and feet. This is a school taking place on the edge of a precious revival in a Muslim area. In this setting you will be trained and equipped to be a pioneer, bringing God’s love to the nations.

Matthew 9:36-38: Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

God was on a mission when He sent His Son from heaven to earth to save you. Now that the harvest is ripe, God is calling forth a new breed of missionaries, a generation of laid-down lovers who will run into the darkest corners of the earth, call in the outcasts, bring in His Bride and compel the poor to come to the wedding feast.

On Friday the 22nd of April myself and a friend Erica Wessels will be leaving Cape Town to go to Pemba in Mozambique for a "SHORT TERM MISSION TRIP"... We are very excited about this adventure with JESUS!

I'm actually in need of a holiday but when I prayed about my leave time over Easter, the Lord spoke very clearly to me about going to Heidi Baker's Ministry in Pemba, Loving on all the children and babies there at the Orphanage :)

Please keep us in your prayers as we share the LOVE of ABBA and just positioning ourselves to be used by our Father... MAY JESUS BE GLORIFIED IN OUR TIME THERE!!!

Kingdom Marriage Journey part 2

After making the decree on Mount Carmel, I returned to South Africa with my precious bridal cloth from Jerusalem. I kept in touch with my friend Christina, and in 2016, she told me that God was shifting the timeline and advised her to wait before flying to South Africa. Though disheartened, I trusted that the Lord knew best. 2016 came and went, and in 2017, Christina and I spoke again. She said God was still not releasing her to come and make the dress in South Africa. Frustrated, I asked her to stop updating me on the timeline because it felt like my wedding day was dependent on her making the dress. ( which it was ) LOL  I decided to take my mother with me to Jerusalem in May 2017 and I shared it with Christina,  she prayed about our trip and came back to me saying that God had released her to fly to Israel, meet us in Jerusalem, and take my measurements for the wedding dress. "LADY IN WAITING"

To all my Beautiful single lady (and guy) friends in waiting... It's been such an AMAZING 2010, The Lord was truly felt and seen through last year being good memories or bad memories, Jesus was there to hold our hands through ALL of it :) I started a Fasting & Prayer day on Monday's:  Phil 4:6  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be  made known to God .  for all my friends being in the position of "WAITING" It actually started with all my Single Girl friends being ready for marriage but as the months continued I found myself surrounded by quite a number of people being in a waiting period... Waiting to be married Waiting to fall pregnant Waiting to get a job Waiting to finish their Studies Waiting to finish School Waiting for the release of their calling Waiting to step out in obedience Waiting....
